How we compare on price
Every figure below is a published list price we read from the vendor's own pricing page on 9 August 2026, against the effective per-unit rate of our Pro plan.
vs ElevenLabs
Same underlying voice quality, metered per character instead of sold in tiers. Also compared against Deepgram for transcription.
- Text to speech — 75% below Multilingual v2
- Transcription — 55% below Scribe, 78% below Deepgram
- Sound effects & audio — 67% below list
vs SerpApi
The same response schema, so switching is a base-URL change. Dedicated plans are sold in fixed tiers; we meter individual searches.
- 6,000 searches — $25 against $150
- 25,000 searches — $80 against $275
- 70,000 searches — $175 against $725

What you give up
Cheaper has consequences. These apply to both APIs.
Latency
We sit in front of the provider, so add some overhead versus calling them directly. Irrelevant for batch and background work; possibly not for hard real-time.
Surface area
We expose the endpoints most projects use, not every option the vendor ships. Check the listing docs for a niche parameter before you switch.
Support model
Support is through the RapidAPI listing and email, not a dedicated account manager. Every response carries a request ID, which is what makes that workable.
Compare it on the free tier
No card, no contract. Run your own inputs through both before you switch anything.
